Hi, my name is Travagal. And I’m a travaholic.
The earliest I can remember my symptoms setting in was the first time I ever flew on a plane – at the ripe old age of 12. Now don’t get me wrong, I had traveled with my family before that – west of the Mississippi by car. Road trips were our thing. It wasn’t until the day our plane landed back on the banks of the northern Mississippi that first trip that I experienced my first symptom – wanderlust. As much as a 12 year old could, I immediately began to plan my next expedition. The summer I was 13, my parents allowed me to get on a plane to visit my aunt in the Rocky Mountains. From then on, there was no looking back. That hint of wanderlust has since been engrained as part of who I have become.
I have traveled many places in our beautiful country – from camping in Yellowstone to dining in Beverly Hills. My plan in the next few years is to broaden my scope of travel. I have no fear when traveling domestically, but am inexperienced internationally – only having been to 3 countries outside of the U.S of A. More than anything I want to experience the world before I get old and my body can’t keep up.
If you’re going to continue on and read some more about my adventures in my blog, you probably want to know some tidbits about who I am:
Most of all, I love to travel. Today it’s a hobby, but “when I grow up,” I want to earn a living through travel…I just need to figure out how. This blog is the story of that journey.
